That inspired me to do some research on how some artistic photographers see hurricanes - through the lenses of the cameras. After I got off work this morning, I saw that there was a moderate haze occulting the moon and stars, and then thicker clouds started rolling in soon thereafter. I looked at the satellite maps and recognized these are the very far outer bands from Hurricane Ida! Just when I d given up on hurricane season, we eventually get some fun weather at the end! Tropical storms always make for great sunrises/sunsets.
