24 Alum Dennis Haysbert to Guest on ABC’s Trophy Wife

Once POTUS on Fox s 24, Dennis Haysbert will be guest starring on ABC s freshman comedy Trophy Wife. Haysbert will appear in episode 9 as Russ Bradley Morrison, who will be chaperoning a school field trip to the museum with Kate (Malin Akerman).  He is described by TVLine as straight-laced, not entirely surprising for a man with three names. Russ will also find himself involved in one of Kate s matchmaking endeavors. In addition to playing President David Palmer on 24, Haysbert s credits include The Unit, and the role of everyone s favorite insurance pitchman for Allstate.  Haysbert also appeared in a Rainn Wilson-fronted pilot Backstrom for CBS, which failed to make the 2013-2014 cut.
