According to The Hollywood Reporter, Starz has dropped plans to co-produce crime drama Fortitude with British broadcaster Sky Atlantic. With the production schedule altered to where the series wouldn t be ready for the fourth quarter premiere it had been penciled in for, the network will now fast-track a project currently in development for a late 2014 premiere. Due to changes in the Sky Atlantic production of Fortitude, Starz will not be licensing the series in the U.S., the network said in a statement. The series will now be a fully funded Sky project for Sky Atlantic. Starz will fast-track several projects that have been in development for its 2014 programing slate. Starz and Sky continue to discuss other projects, and very much look forward to collaborating again in the future. The network is still planning on airing 75 hours of originals in 2014, which will include Michael Bay pirate drama Black Sails (debuting January 25th), season two of Da Vinci s Demons, the telev
