ABC to Repeat First Episode of Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD Thursday

ABC has announced that the first episode of Marvel s Agents of SHIELD will be repeating this Thursday at 8:00, replacing what was to be a Shark Tank encore. The series, created by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tanchareon, premiered as television s highest rated new drama in nearly four years, defeating both the season premiere of NCIS and a new episode of The Voice in its time slot. Agents of SHIELD picks up following the conclusion of the battle of New York, with the public fully aware of the existence of superheroes and aliens. What they don t know, though, is that Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) has assembled a group of agents from the Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division with the intention of going after The Rising Tide, an as-yet-unknown enemy group who could pose a serious threat going forward.
