Gabriel Macht

The son of a museum curator and One Life to Live actor Stephen Macht, Gabriel Macht first brought notice to his acting talent when he appeared in 1980 dramedy Why Would I Lie? as a young boy in the foster care system who helps bring two people together. However, despite the critical praise he earned at the tender age of 8, he didn t return to the business until over a decade later, landing guest appearances on Beverly Hills, 90210, Spin City, and Sex and the City in the first few years of his adult career. Macht did the occasional bit of television, including starring in 2000 NBC supernatural series The Others, but focused more on film and theater, with roles coming in Behind Enemy Lines, The Object of My Affection, and A Love Song for Bobby Long.
